The Medicine Retreat
21st- 26th June 2027
An Intensive 5-Night Bespoke Health Immersion
Join us for 6 days of Ayurvedic living, nervous system regulation, and cleansing yoga practices at the glorious Henge Estate, located on the sacred land of Stonehenge.
“Your body holds a deep, quiet wisdom. When you clear away the noise of the world, you begin to hear what it has been trying to tell you all along.” — Dr. Gabor Maté
We live in a time where there is more access to information than ever before. If we have a problem, all we have to do is reach for our laptop, social media, or search engine to find an answer. While this is a miraculous feat of modern life, it can also create a sea of confusion; which health trend to follow, whose online advice to take, which expert to trust.
Wouldn’t it be so much easier to simply ask yourself?
In theory, yes. However, due to the relentless hum of outside noise around health and well-being, most of us have become disconnected from our body’s innate intelligence and its intuitive sense of what we truly need to feel good.
The Medicine Retreat is an invitation to step into a space of quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, to fuse your body and mind’s natural capacity to work together.
When the body-mind connection is thriving, navigating our well-being becomes effortless. We instinctively feel when something serves us and when it doesn’t; we recognise when our nervous system is activated, and we sense when a food doesn’t agree with us.
Throughout the six days, we will be practising and exploring Yoga and Ayurveda side-by-side: Yoga to restore the mind-body connection, and Ayurveda to cleanse our internal systems through seasonal diet and lifestyle practices. Together, these tools allow you to hone the skill of self-connection, equipping you to understand the root causes of imbalance across both body and mind.
All set within the lush summertime nature of Wiltshire, a hidden gem nestled in the English countryside, built on land steeped in ancient history, Neolithic archaeology, and the energy of Stonehenge, long thought by many to be the heart chakra of the Earth.
The Yoga
Any of you who have been to my classes, workshops, or retreats will know that I am a complete yoga nerd. The thing that excites me most about this practice, both as a teacher and a practitioner, is the never-ending possibility to learn. My teacher always says: “If you think you're 'good' at yoga, you’ve missed the point.”
On this retreat, my aim is to cultivate an environment where you feel open and curious—a space where yoga isn't something to perfect, but simply something to practice. The emphasis throughout our 6 days together will be on practicing to learn, enjoy, explore, and—most importantly, restore.
Expect a rich, holistic experience of yoga across the week:
Morning Practice: Functionally designed asana focused on clear biomechanics and alignment to clear stagnation, wake up energy, and cleanse the body’s internal systems.
Evening Practice: Completely dedicated to down-regulation, a slow, prop-supported Yin and Restorative practice designed to calm the nervous system and prepare you for deep sleep.
Beyond the Mat: Daily pranayama, seated meditation, and philosophy sessions to ground your physical movement in classical context.
The Ayurvedic Experience
Far more than a general yoga retreat, The Medicine Retreat is an opportunity for you to delve into your health and learn in depth the science of Ayurveda, an ancient health system that prioritises treating the individual, over the condition.
While typical wellness getaways offer a temporary pause from daily stress, this 5-night intensive is designed to uncover the root causes of burnout, sluggish digestion, and nervous system fatigue. You will not simply take a break from your life; you will return home with a bespoke blueprint to transform it.
Ayurveda has been one of my passions over the last decade, having recently qualified as an Ayurvedic consultant, I wanted to add this new flavour to my retreats. Working with Yoga and Ayurveda together, bring about a full sense of harmony, allowing you to not only restore balance on the mat, but to understand your unique mind-body constitution (Prakriti) and take home practical, lifelong tools for your everyday well-being.
Celebrating the Solstice
Our six days of medicine commence on a very special day in the astronomical calendar: the Summer Solstice. On the 21st of June, the sun reaches its highest point in the sky, marking the longest day of the year and the peak of light, warmth and solar energy. For thousands of years this day has been considered a very sacred moment in the year for personal intentions and healing, but more so to honour the earth.
A major theme of this retreat is to detox from the busyness of life and reconnect with nature. One of the foundational practices of Ayurveda is learning how to move, live, and eat with the rhythms and cycles of the earth. Through this exciting moment in the natural world, we will use the Solstice as our guide to slow down, reset our internal clocks, and harness the sun’s peak energy to reignite our innate vitality and bring deep, lasting balance to our minds and bodies.
And where better to do so than on the energetically charged land of Wiltshire, just moments from Stonehenge? This ancient Neolithic stone circle is believed by archaeologists and historians to have been built as a portal of healing, most potent on the Summer Solstice.
Henge Estate
Our Sanctuary for the week
Set within 25 acres of private Wiltshire countryside near the ancient grounds of Stonehenge, Henge Estate is an exclusive, Grade II listed Georgian manor house that offers complete privacy and quiet elegance. Spanning ten beautifully appointed bedrooms across its historic Georgian and cosier Victorian wings, the estate features expansive grounds, light-filled rooms, and open fireplaces, creating a deeply restorative, closed-door sanctuary designed for total rest, integration, and high-touch care.
25 Acres of Private Countryside: Secluded, tree-lined grounds surrounded by rolling Wiltshire hills, offering total peace and privacy.
Outdoor Hot Tub: Tucked into the grounds, ideal for soaking under the stars and unwinding after evening Yin sessions.
Nine Luxury Upstairs Bedrooms: Super-king or king beds, high ceilings, sash windows, and private en-suite bathrooms.
Dedicated Movement & Practice Space: Yoga Shala for daily yoga, pranayama, and workshops.
Communal Gathering Areas: Drawing room with open fireplaces, a cosy library, and a large dining hall for shared organic meals.
Proximity to Sacred Sites: Minutes away from Stonehenge and ancient Neolithic walking trails.
A Bespoke Living
Experience
Unlike high-volume commercial retreat centres, The Medicine Retreat is hosted as a private, closed-door manor residency strictly capped at nine private client rooms:
Every Guest Gets Their Own Sanctuary: Deep integration requires total privacy. Every client receives their own beautifully appointed private bedroom in the Georgian or Victorian wings.
Bespoke Ayurvedic Culinary Medicine: We bring in our own dedicated private chef to prepare fresh, seasonal, dosha-balancing meals cooked specifically to reignite your digestive fire (Agni) and cleanse at a cellular level.
Cleansing & Traditional Yoga: Daily therapeutic movement, pranayama, and grounding meditation tailored to down-regulate stress and clear energetic blockages.
Intimate, High-Touch Care: With only 9 clients, you receive individualised attention, daily guidance, and a warm, supportive community space around open fires and shared table feasts.
"When diet is wrong, medicine is of no use. When diet is correct, medicine is of no need."

Ayurvedic living and learning
Ayurveda has been my passion for the last six years, and having just completed my diploma in Ayurvedic consultancy, I am so excited to share all I have learned in these special six days.
-Daily Ayurvedic Workshops: exploring the foundational practices of Ayurveda, including seasonal practice, diet and lifestyle wisdom.
-Ayurvedic Culinary Medicine: Three hot, seasonal Ayurvedic meals daily. Freshly prepared by our private chef using organic ingredients to balance digestion (Agni).

Nervous system regulation
More than anything, The Medicine Retreat is a space where you can fully offload and reset, escaping the noise and relentless tension of daily life. Healing cannot happen in survival mode.
- Targeted Breath & Vagus Nerve Work: Specific pranayama techniques designed to immediately lower cortisol, settle heart rate, and soothe the nervous system.
- Myofascial Release: In both morning and evening daily practices we will do specific mobility to release fascial tension (a large contributor to activated nervous system).
-Free time to explore nature and just be: There will be free time intentionally built into the programme, for you to rest, read and spend time in nature.
digital detox is encouraged!
A message from the host…
Hello potential medicine retreat attendee!
The idea for this retreat was born out of noticing how much disconnection so many of us experience, both with ourselves and with the natural world in the current climate we live in.
We pay exorbitant amounts on skincare to cover up underlying skin issues, reach for a quick fix for stomach pain, or, most often, flock to our keyboards to ask Google why we don’t feel well.
Both the practice of yoga, and the science of Ayurveda work together to return us to our body’s natural compass and innate intelligence. Through these modalities, we declutter our minds and cleanse our bodies from the outside noise that so easily consumes us. Noise that often leaves us feeling lost when it comes to understanding what we individually need to feel well and live in harmony.
Yoga and Ayurveda have truly been my bedrock of safety and peace throughout my early adulthood, and I’m so excited to share all of the wisdom, healing and knowledge I have been so lucky to study and practice over the last decade with you.
Love, Floss x
